Rhonda and I have been privileged to serve Christ in the church since 1984.  It has been a great journey that has taken us across the United States, into most of the countries in Europe, a few countries in Africa, South America, and some places I probably don't even remember.  We are so thankful for His hand of guidance in our lives for these 29 years, for His faithfulness in our family and the opportunity that He has given us here to come home to the Northwest.  The adventure we see before us now could be the greatest of all, and we look forward to sharing it with you!

My wife, Paige, and I are serving as Ministers to Youth and their families here at the Kent Church of the Nazarene.  Prior to serving at Kent Nazarene, we served overseas in Poland with the Sweet Surrender Coffee Ministries.  After serving there for two years, we felt a call to be Ministers to Youth and Family here at Kent Naz.

Since we have moved to the Pacific Northwest, we have thoroughly enjoyed our time here.  We love spending time with our youth and their families.  When we are not hanging out with the youth, we love to drink coffee, spend time with each other, friends, and family, go running, visit new places, and try new vegan restaurants.

I am the Early Childhood Director of Family Ministries at Hillside Church. Along with my son, Brandon, we have been attending here since 1999. Prior to Hillside, I grew up at the Federal Way Nazarene Church, and was the Children’s Choir Director at Aurora Nazarene Church. I have worked in the child care field since 1988, and have had a passion for working with children since I was in elementary school. Together, Brandon and I enjoy playing games, watching movies, exploring the Pacific Northwest, and singing. I have a BA in Early Childhood Education Administration (2011), an MA in Education with specializations in: Early Childhood Education, Curriculum and Instruction, and Special Education (2014). God has called me to be an ordained Children’s Pastor, so I will continue my course of study with Northwest Nazarene University. In addition to being the Early Childhood Director, I am also the Nazarene Washington Pacific District (WaPac) Children’s Quizzing Director. My passion is for children and God’s Word, and bringing these together in supporting families as they are the primary spiritual parents in their home. I also enjoy scrapbooking, spending time with friends and family, cooking/baking, and going for walks.
